Secure Connectivity — Abu Dhabi, Dubai & UAE

VPN Connectivity Solutions for Branches & Remote Staff

VOWTECH designs and sets up VPN connectivity for businesses in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and across the UAE — encrypted site-to-site tunnels that join offices, warehouses and cloud environments, and remote access VPN that lets staff reach company systems safely from home or while travelling.

// OVERVIEW

Private Links Between Your Sites, Carried Over the Public Internet

A VPN creates an encrypted tunnel across the internet so that traffic between two points cannot be read by anyone in between. For a business this solves two everyday problems: branch offices that need to share servers, files and applications as though they were on one network, and employees who need those same resources when they are away from the office.

VOWTECH plans the connectivity before touching any configuration: which sites must talk to each other, which users need remote access, what they should reach and what they should not. Tunnels normally terminate on your firewall or a dedicated VPN appliance, so the design also covers internet links, IP addressing and capacity at each location.

A VPN is only useful while it stays stable. Once the links are live they can be watched and maintained through our VPN and network monitoring service, so a dropped tunnel or an expiring certificate is noticed and dealt with before staff start reporting that the shared drive has disappeared.

Three Ways to Connect Securely

Most organisations end up using more than one of these. The design work is deciding which traffic belongs on which.

Site-to-Site VPN

A permanent tunnel between the firewalls at two or more locations. Staff do nothing — the head office, branch, warehouse or site cabin simply behave like parts of one network.

Always-on links between locations
No software on user devices
Hub-and-spoke or meshed layouts
Suits shared servers, ERP and CCTV viewing

Remote Access VPN

A client on the laptop or phone builds a tunnel to the office on demand. Each user signs in individually, so access can be granted, limited and removed person by person.

For home and travelling staff
Per-user sign-in and permissions
Works with multi-factor authentication
Access ends when the account is disabled

Cloud & Hybrid VPN

A tunnel from your office network to a private cloud or hosted environment, so servers in the cloud are reached over private addressing rather than being published to the internet.

Office-to-cloud private connectivity
Keeps hosted servers off the public web
Useful during phased migrations

VPN Design, Configuration & Rollout

The parts of a VPN project that decide whether it is dependable and safe in daily use.

Connectivity Design

We map sites, users and applications, check for overlapping IP ranges between locations and choose a tunnel layout that matches how traffic really flows.

Tunnel Configuration

IPsec or SSL tunnels are built with current encryption settings, matched on both ends and documented, including links to devices managed by another party where needed.

Remote User Setup

VPN clients are installed and profiled on company laptops and mobiles, with a short guide so staff know how to connect and what to do if a connection fails.

Access Policies

Rules decide what each group can reach through the tunnel. Accounts staff see the finance server; a contractor sees one system only — not the whole network.

Sign-In Security

Remote access can be tied to your existing directory accounts and protected with multi-factor authentication, so a stolen password alone does not open the network.

Resilient Links

Where a site has a second internet line, tunnels can be configured to fail over to it automatically, so a single provider fault does not isolate the branch.

// HOW WE WORK

From Connectivity Review to Live Tunnels

Changes are tested on a small group first so the rest of the company is not used as the test.

Connectivity Review

We review sites, internet links, existing firewalls and who needs access to which systems.

VPN Design

You receive a simple diagram and scope: tunnel layout, addressing, equipment and access rules.

Configuration

Tunnels, user groups, policies and sign-in security are configured on the agreed devices.

Pilot & Testing

A pilot site or user group tests applications, speed and failover before wider rollout.

Rollout & Handover

Remaining sites and users are brought on, and the configuration is documented and handed over.

// WHY VOWTECH

Why a Properly Designed VPN Matters

A VPN that was switched on in a hurry often works — until it becomes the easiest way into the network. Design and policy are what make it safe.

Data Protected in Transit

Traffic between sites and remote users is encrypted, including on hotel, home and public Wi-Fi.

One Network Across Sites

Branches use the same servers, printers and applications without duplicate systems at every location.

Access You Can Control

Each user and site reaches only what is needed, and access is removed cleanly when someone leaves.

Abu Dhabi-Based Support

VOWTECH is based in Abu Dhabi, attends sites in Dubai and across the UAE, and supports VPN users remotely.

VPN Connectivity Questions

A site-to-site VPN joins two networks permanently, firewall to firewall, and users are not aware of it. A remote access VPN connects one device to the office when the user signs in through a VPN client. Offices with branches and mobile staff typically use both, each with its own access rules.
Each site needs a device that can terminate a VPN tunnel — usually a business-grade firewall or router, not the basic unit supplied with an internet line. We check what you already have before recommending anything new. Options are described on our VPN appliances page.
Encryption adds a small overhead, but the main factors are the internet links at each end and the capacity of the devices doing the encryption. During the design we look at line speeds, the applications that will cross the tunnel and the firewall throughput, so that the limits are known before go-live.
It protects the connection, not the device. A laptop with malware can still carry it through the tunnel. We normally pair remote access with multi-factor sign-in, limited access rules and endpoint security on the devices that connect, so that one weak laptop does not expose the office.
