Each location receives a suitable biometric attendance machine — fingerprint for most workplaces, face recognition attendance where contactless entry suits the environment — and every terminal is registered against the central database rather than its own local list.
The part that usually decides success is connectivity. Devices at remote branches need a dependable route back to the attendance server or cloud service, which may mean a site-to-site VPN, a correctly configured internet link or simply better switching at the branch. Our networking and infrastructure team looks after that layer, and ongoing care can sit inside a managed IT services arrangement.
Where the attendance software lives affects cost of ownership, data control and how branches connect. There is no single right answer — it depends on your IT setup.
Devices at each site send their records over the internet to hosted attendance software. HR logs in through a browser from any emirate, and there is no server to look after at head office.
